Explanation of the Use of Non-GAAP Financial Measures
Certain of the results and financial information of Broadridge presented on the Interactive Analyst Center are not presented in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles measures in the United States (“Non-GAAP”). Any Non-GAAP results or information should be viewed in addition to, and not as a substitute for, Broadridge’s reported results. These Non-GAAP measures are indicators that management uses to provide additional meaningful comparisons between current results and prior reported results, and as a basis for planning and forecasting for future periods. In addition, Broadridge believes this Non-GAAP information helps investors understand the effect of these items on reported results and provides a better representation of Broadridge’s performance. Reconciliations of the Non-GAAP financial measures presented on the Interactive Analyst Center to the comparable GAAP measures will be provided in the Interactive Analyst Center under the tab called “Non-GAAP Reconciliations.”
